Thank you to all of our customers who donated directly, or favored us with their business that enabled us to donate directly. More than anything, thank you to all of our troops everywhere in the world.
We hope that you will join us in helping to support these fine organizations. As a local community store, we focus our giving towards the many small local charities and benefits in our area; leaving the national charities for national companies to support. At the bottom of this list, we’ll tell you a little about some of our favorites.

Here are some of our favorites with their links:
Bridges – Supporting local women escaping from abusive situations, or dealing with the effects of abuse. Learn more at: http://www.bridgesnh.org
Make-A-Wish – Yes, a national organization, but the local branch helps children right here. We have been privileged to help them fulfill four wishes: two pool tables and two hot tubs. They are incredibly professional, handle every detail, and always treat the entire family with the utmost respect. Learn more at: http://newhampshire.wish.org
High Hopes – Our own local New Hampshire group is similar to Mark-A-Wish, with a few differences:
- All volunteer staff (low overhead)
- No national money – everything is local
- Wish recipients do not have to be terminally ill. We’ve helped them with two hot tubs. For some medical conditions, that hot tub can make a huge difference in the life of a child and their family for many, many years.
Meeting with a mother whose young child will need constant care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for her entire life, is an experience that I will never forget. Learn more at: http://www.highhopesnh.org
